Applications
Where the screen is installed determines brightness, pixel pitch and construction.
Indoor
For reception areas, showrooms, meeting rooms, clubs and amusement parks. Indoors, people often stand close to the screen, so it needs a small pixel pitch. Two examples: the video wall at Abacus in St. Gallen and the 5 m high screen on the dinosaur ride at Conny-Land.
8 ReferencesOutdoor
For municipalities, companies and advertising sites. Outdoors, a screen has to stand up to the sun and withstand rain, heat and frost. Examples: the screen above the Munt la Schera tunnel portal and the screens for the Municipality of Berg and for Rhiienergie in Tamins.
4 ReferencesTrade shows and events
Ultimapix started with trade shows: our clients did not want to show their films on an ordinary display at their stand. Since then we have built screens for trade-show stands, for example for Bühler AG at GIFA in Düsseldorf and Fruit Logistica in Berlin, or for Fujifilm at drupa and in Chicago. For purchase, permanently installed or as a mobile system that your team sets up and takes down.
17 ReferencesTotems
Free-standing screens for squares, bus stops, entrances and shopping centres. With LED when it has to be very bright, or with LCD when small text is read from close up.
5 ProductsMenu boards
For restaurants, bakeries, staff canteens and drive-throughs. You change prices and offers yourself, at one location or in all branches at once.
2 ProductsShop windows
An ordinary display has 250 to 400 nits and can hardly be seen in a sunny shop window. Behind the glass you need 2500 nits or more, and the device has to cope with the heat behind the glass.
