Privacy policy

This statement describes which personal data we process when you visit ultimapix.com. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

Visiting the website

When a page is requested, our server stores technical data in log files: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser, operating system and referrer. We use this data only for operation, security and troubleshooting. The website runs on our own server in Germany (Hetzner Online GmbH, data centre in the EU).

Cookies and consent

Without your consent this website does not set any cookies. On your first visit we ask whether we may use Google Analytics and Google Ads. We store your choice in your browser’s storage (localStorage) so that the question does not appear on every page. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, we delete the Google cookies in your browser. Fonts and images are loaded from our own server.

Google Analytics and Google Ads

We use Google Analytics and Google Ads from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. They show us which pages are visited, where visitors come from and which ads lead to an enquiry. With your consent, Google sets cookies for this purpose (for example “_ga” and “_gcl_au”) and receives information about your device, browser, approximate location and the pages you visit. When you send an enquiry, we only tell Google that an enquiry was received. Google does not receive the content or contact details of the enquiry.

Without your consent, Google does not set any cookies. The Google tag then only sends messages without an identifier, for example that a page was viewed or an enquiry was sent and that no consent was given. Google uses them for estimates in aggregated reports.

Google may also transfer data to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework. For more information, see Google’s privacy policy.

Enquiries via forms and the configurator

When you write to us through a form, we process your name, email, company, phone number, your message and the selected configuration in order to answer your enquiry and prepare a quote. The data is transferred directly to our internal customer system and is not stored on the website. We do not pass it on to third parties.

Videos from Vimeo

Videos are embedded from Vimeo (Vimeo.com, Inc., USA). They only load when you click «Play video». Only then is data such as your IP address transmitted to Vimeo, including to the USA.

Retention

We keep personal data for as long as it is needed for the purpose or required by law.
